Global Semiconductor Alliance
The Global Semiconductor Alliance (GSA) mission is to accelerate the growth and increase the return on invested capital of the global semiconductor industry by fostering a more effective fabless ecosystem through collaboration, integration and innovation. It addresses the challenges within the supply chain including IP, EDA/design, wafer manufacturing, test and packaging to enable industry-wide solutions. Providing a platform for meaningful global collaboration, the Alliance identifies and articulates market opportunities, encourages and supports entrepreneurship, and provides members with comprehensive and unique market intelligence. Members include companies throughout the supply chain representing 25 countries across the globe.

MIPI Alliance
The mission of the MIPI Alliance is to benefit the entire mobile industry by establishing standards for hardware and software interfaces in mobile devices. The organization actively promotes and encourages the adoption of these specification throughout the industry value chain. Adopting a set of standard hardware interfaces will product peripheral hardware products from multiple vendors which work seamlessly with numerous processor and system-on-a-chip products. Since software is an integral component of many of these interfaces, some level of software standardization will enhance this improved inter-connectivity. A common set of interfaces will maximize design reuse, drive innovation and reuce tim-to-market for all participants.

SD Association
The SD Association comprises a global ecosystem of more than 1,100 technology companies charged with setting interoperable memory card standards. The Association develops specifications for consumer electronic, mobile devices, digital imaging and networking products. SD cards dominate the memory card market with nearly 80 percent market share. Today, mobile phones, HDTVs, audio players, automotive multimedia systems, handheld PCs, cameras and camcorders feature SD card slots allowing interoperability between products regardless of manufacturer or product type.
